About the Artist
The majority of my work depicts verses from the Holy Koran where I have experimented with the freedom and versatality of the Arabic alphabet. I do not conform to the accepted style of Arabic calligraphy, but rather visualize a concept bringing a fresh innovative approach to the subject.
I have tried, through these paintings, to communicate the message of the Holy Koran to everyone: Muslim and non-Muslim alike.
I am neither a calligrapher nor an artist but a visualizer, attempting to bring the beauty of its text, in all its glory, through the Colors of the Koran.
A religous sage once said that Calligraphy is the tongue of the hand, the delight of the conscience, and the ambassador of the mind.
